MDOT is hosting a series of public meetings
to discuss the proposed Michigan Line safety improvements project
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting a series of public meetings on safety improvements on the Michigan Line, which carries Amtrak’s Detroit -Chicago passenger train service.
The purpose of this project is to enhance pedestrian safety along the railroad corridor at locations known to have hazardous conditions. Enhancements could include fencing, special pavement marking, signs, anti-trespass panels, or other improvements.
