How frequently a train is on-time or late gives a good indication of how well the service is functioning and serving the public.

It’s important to collect performance data so that we can see where timing issues are happening along routes and find solutions.

The tables below show how many times Michigan Amtrak trains are more than 15 minutes late and each station’s on-time percentage. Station abbreviations are used for simplicity.

In March 2026, overall Michigan On-Time Performance was 78.0%. The Wolverine was on time 78.5% of the time, Blue Water was 71.1% on time, and the Pere Marquette was 83.6% on time.
